A person I admire.
I'm going to write about a
friend, about my best friend. He is called Alejandro. He is fifteen and he
lives a little far from my house, in Parque Patricios. He goes to Ramón Falcón
school, but in first and second year, he went to Confederación Suiza school
(that's where I go now and that's the reason why I know him). He goes to school
in the morning, so in the afternoon he sleeps if he wants (I envy him!), and in
his free time, he plays videogames or goes to play a football match with
friends, he's very good at playing football!
He's got two dogs, but I don't know why I'm writing this.

He likes listening to all
kinds of music, but he hates some genres. He likes playing football. He hates
being (negatively) compared with anyone.
His appearance? He has
short, black hair and brown eyes. He is a little shorter than me (more or less
8 cm.) and he is neither thin nor fat. (He’s average; I can't find a word for
that hahaha). He's very cheerful and he keeps secrets very well. I admire him
very much because he has changed my point of view about friendship and now, I
think I see friendship in another way which is better, thanks to him. He is
always happy and every time we meet, I tell him a lot of things that happened
during the week and I don't worry about what I tell him because I feel I can
trust him everything. and say all stupid
things I say weekly (or daily ), and that's another reason why I admire him,
and he always listens to me when I need to tell him a problem.
I think my best friend
isn't very popular (that's not necessary no?), and he likes spending time with
his family, he almost never argues with someone in his family.

I’m
going to talk about the course tutor I had in my previous school, Santa Rosa
Sirito
has got a round face, brown eyes and short brown hair. He’s got a large nose
and a big chin. He’s quite tall, very thin but he isn’t very good-looking. He
is in his early thirties but he looks younger.
Sirito
was very popular in my previous school, everybody knew who he was, and he was
very helpful, especially when we told him our problems. He always listened to
all of them and was very honest. He was a person you could trust on, very
reliable. He got on with every one, he was very hard-working and got angry when
someone did something wrong. When you felt down he always made you laugh. He
didn’t tell much about his life, he was very reserved. The only thing we knew
was that he had a girl friend but he never talked about her.
I
miss him because not only was he my tutor and teacher, but also a friend. He
was and still is a person I admire.

A special person
OK, I
didn’t think too much about the person who I’m going to write. I think that she
is the best person I’ve ever met in my life. Well, we know that nobody is
perfect, but she is near to that. She is Carolina
I met her in a
concert, last year, on May 29th. Juan and I were waiting for the concert on the
queue when she appeared. We were with other friends too. I was surprised
because of her beauty, so I tried to talk with her. And I did it well. We
talked a lot and, after the concert, we continued talking. And we never
stopped, we continued in contact and we became very good friends, I remember
that moment with a smile.
Well, let’s
talk about her, her family, her life…she is nineteen years old, and she lives
in Ramos Mejía, with her mother. Her father…well, her father is disappeared. I
know that he had a problem with them and that’s all. Someday I will ask her
about him, but not now.
She loves art.
She spends a lot of time drawing and painting, and it’s amazing to see how she
reproduces her feelings in the canvas.
Talking about
animals, she loves cats. She has two cats, but she spends a lot of time with
one of them, with the male. She always tries to help abandoned animals.
And now, let’s
talk about basketball, a sport she loves. She used to play basketball in a club
but now she is very busy with the university and her job.
She likes
watching movies at night. I sometimes go to her house and spend all the night
watching movies and talking about our lives. We usually go to Starbucks café
when she comes here, to Caballito.
Let’s describe
her physically. She has long, red hair (a week ago she was blond!) and light
blue eyes. It’s like looking at the sky when you look into her eyes, believe
me. She is quite short and really strong! I think that she is beautiful, as I
said.
Well, about
her character...she is really sociable and cheerful. She is cold too; it’s very
difficult for her to show her feelings if it is now drawing, but when she does,
she can be the sweetest person you would ever know. I was lucky to be in some
of her “expressive” moments. She is very popular because of her “crazy”
personality. She is serious only when it’s necessary, so most of the time she
is really funny. She always listens to your problems, to your life, to every
detail, you can trust on her because she would never fail.
Well, I could
continue writing about her but this text will be very long. My conclusion is
simple: I can’t live without her now. I ´ve learned a lot of things about life
with her, we had a lot of memorable moments and now she is like an axis in my
life. It’s not necessary to say that I love her, I think.

The person I admire
My mother is
medium height, she looks very pretty, and she has dark brown hair with friendly
brown eyes. She always manages to look well-dressed. The first reason why I
admire her is that she teaches me from her experience. The second reason is
that she takes cares of her children first, and then she takes cares of
herself. Taking care of a person is not easy, and taking care of yourself at
the same time is even harder. In conclusion I admire my mother because she
works so hard for our family and for my best. When I grow up I will take care
of her the way she does with me right now.
